Application Opening for 2026 Season is rescheduled. You can apply for an expedition permit for 2026 season starting 16. December 2025. Scientific expeditions hosted by a scientific station and working within the station's monitoring area must apply via the research station. Be advised that you must submit your application no later than 12 weeks before your expected expedition start – the applications process is divided in 4 parts, where you get access to a system to which you must continuously upload documentation before your application can be processed.
