Important update regarding email contact for the joint arctic command

The Joint Arctic Command has updated the email address used for certain expedition-related communication. The Expedition Office therefore draws attention to the new contact information and clarifies which notifications must still be sent directly to the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre (JRCC).

Extreme Caution in Dickson Fjord and the National Park in North and East Greenland

The Government of Greenland warns travelers to exercise extreme caution in Dickson Fjord (west of Ella Island) and across the National Park in North and East Greenland.

Safety concerns follow a landslide-triggered tsunami in 2023 and ongoing risks such as sudden weather changes and long rescue response times.

Further updates on possible sailing restrictions are forthcoming.
