Melville Bay

Content

Part of Melville Bay (Qimusseriarsuaq) with adjoining stretches of land and ice, has been designated as a nature reservation, where all wildlife is protected, please see Executive Order.

Travel in the area is severely restricted, with certain exceptions. The Government of Greenland may, for scientific purposes, dispense from the provisions in the Executive Order which requires political approval.
